Numbered Grade Level Expectations

for Sunshine State Standards in Music

Face it.

The Sunshine State Standards numbering system is downright arduous to use in the classroom. While it makes sense from a state-wide systemic point of view, it's just too ponderous to be easily managed by this classroom teacher. User friendly, it's not.

That's why I replaced the regular system with my own numbers, 1-45, for example. All I did was to number the GLEs from files that I downloaded from DOE.

This is so much easier to use and manage. So instead of M.U.D.1.2.1.1 (aaargh!!!), it's just 37 (or whatever number it is in each grade level).

Download them here if you think it will streamline your record keeping in your classroom.
