Viva Vocabulary! - a look at the importance of teaching vocabulary in a systematic, research-based way to help your students learn more and better;  includes a word list of basic terms that all students should know to increase general knowledge which happen to be found in the music curriculum.

Clickers for  Elemusic Classrooms- if you are looking for buying guidance for "clickers," you need some basic information.  Here it is.  If you are using clickers that came with your Interactive White Board, then this may not be that useful. (This is a download page, by the way.)

Some of photos show musical ideas without containing actual musical content.  Others are just lovely, amusing, or directly musical.

Music "Planning Sheet" - a download for students who need to reflect on their behavior and make a plan for improvement.  Probably 3rd or 4th grade reading level. After the student does his/her reflection, the teacher may easily reflect as well, and then it goes home to the parents for signature and return.
The Magic Folding Book - a cool manipulative that you can use with upper grade students to help them learn or display their knowledge; download a Powerpoint to see how to do it and use it with your students as well. I designed the PowerPoint but I got the idea from a workshop somewhere....

The Florida Music Train - handouts from a session with Karen Bouton, NBCT and FEMEA President and Martha Stanley, NBCT,  at the Florida Music Educators Conference in 2006.  The FMT is a fabulous teaching resource from the Florida Department of State.  The FMT features information and recordings of most of the cultural groups found in Florida plus teaching units for five of the groups.

SQUILT Page- Super Quiet Uninterrupted Listening Time is an idea (not my original idea) that helps promote peaceful and careful listening.  Download a SQUILT listening form (my idea) and use it to guide the students about what three or more elements you want them to comment/write about after listening.

Sense-ational Audience Etiquette- a page that shows how we should act at a concert by outlining how the 5 senses come into play.  Many real examples.  This site is linked to by dozens of other sites including symphony orchestras, university and elementary music classrooms and About.com. Ready to use, but some of the graphics aren't showing up yet and I haven't figured out why....

Audiation Sign - directions to make a two-sided sign with "think" and "sing" on the sides.  Use it to help the students "think" or "sing" a song, depending on which side they see.  Adorable pix included. Originally published in AOSA's Reverberations.
